I have been at the forefront of UK personal training for over five years and hold some of the most prestigious personal training and sports therapy qualifications from around the world. I have a reputation for excellence and a multi-disciplinary no nonsense approach to training my one-to-one clients. This has attracted people from all walks of life and backgrounds. It enables me to offer sessions that focus upon your individual wants and needs. I then plan to deliver those results by focusing specifically on what YOU need to do to attain them. This permits me to ensure the very best use of your time, whilst you work with me.

Naturally, I am very concerned about protecting my reputation and do so by ensuring that only those that are 100% commited to achieving their goals have access to my expertise on a regular basis.

ICAN is the personal training business I co-founded but to me it’s more than just our company name it’s a way of life!

My personal philosophy…Knowledge is power.

This has evolved through my own desire to learn. Never content to sit back, the last eight years have seen me undertake and qualify in some of the world’s most prestigious fitness, health and well being courses. These include corrective and postural assessment, nutrition, sports biomechanics specialist, function of the core, kid’s fitness, Exercise for the specialist populations and the latest in neuro linguistic programming which has equipped me as a fully accredited life coach.
This congruency in all aspects of fitness and health allows me to create you a bespoke tailor made personal training programme uniquely designed to meet ALL of YOUR goals. Team ICAN guarantee to constantly monitor, re-assess and evolve your training until together we reach your goals.
I truly believe the adage that if you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always got but….change YOUR approach and ANYTHING is possible.

I have been in the fitness industry for 10 years, starting as a studio instructor in aerobics and circuit training. I then went onto become a personal trainer with further training specialising in core fitness, ante natal and post natal fitness. I have a passion for the industry and what I do and since having my triplets and getting back into shape and regaining my fitness, I hope to show any mum that they can too, with our nutritional advice and dedication to a bespoke training programme. There are no excuses, just hard work and commitment.

I have been an avid sports and fitness fan for many years and have tried my hand at football, squash, rugby, golf and athletics to name a few! I am very open minded to new things and very dedicated to progressing all aspects of my career and taking my performance to the next level. This has lead to a passion in weight training and the gym environment, something I love doing and am very proud to say is also my profession. I started my fitness career as a Fitness instructor at LA Fitness, progressing to a personal trainer, gym manager for Nuffield and now through excellent training, hard work and proven results, I am very proud to be part of team ICAN. I believe the key to success in training is careful planning, dedication to the cause and clear, well defined goals. My sessions are based on motivation, hard work, a healthy eating plan and most important, enjoyment! This is the key to obtaining results and keeping them up!

My fitness enthusiasm started at the early age of 6 when I became heavily involved in my local rugby club 'Wilmslow wolves'. This passion persisted throughout high school where I captained my team for 5 seasons, throwing in 'voluntary' (by voluntary I meant compulsory) training session at lunches to practice skills and improve fitness... so really you could say I’ve been a personal trainer from the age of 12 ! I then earned a place on the Cheshire U18's county team where nutrition became an apparent necessity to enable me to compete at this high level. Since realising this, I have chopped and changed my diet, and dare I say ALMOST perfected the art of an all-natural, low carb, high protein diet- without loosing the 'balance' aspect of eating. These philosophies transpose themselves through to my client base- that in turn leads to a high success rate, whether your goals are to tone up, lose weight or generally improve your lifestyle/ fitness. Leaving schoolboy rugby - I worked my way through the wolves’ academy and onto the first team, achieving a goal I had set at a young age.

My training tip for success in the health and fitness world?

Physical wellbeing has always been a great interest of mine, which is what gives me the passion I have for my career in Sports Therapy. I have enjoyed keeping fit and looking after my body from a young age. I am now very lucky to have a profession I love, working in the perfect environment and in something I enjoy to do day in day out! This passion shows through my work.

My degree in Sports Therapy has filled me with extreme knowledge and hands on experience but I am always willing to extend my knowledge and gain even more valuable qualifications to push my abilities to the next level. I have gained a wide variety of valued experience within many greatly influential professional environments such as my work with Carlisle United Football Club, Wigan Warriors Rugby League academy and Edge Hill University Sports Injury Clinic.

My clients put their trust in me and together we produce positive results, preventing injuries and participating in rehabilitation stages. I am always eager to help meet clients targets and love to see positive effects and progress in my work. It is extremely fulfilling and rewarding to know that I can help an individual with everyday functional struggles.
